2011 for Ivanjoe
January: After weeks of training in the call center and experiencing for the first time how to handle calls, I was fired on the last day of that month. (January 30)
February: Couch potato.
March: Searched for a job. Received nothing.
April: Caught chickenpox after 20 years.
May: Celebrated my 21st birthday with family, relatives and friends at a resort in Antipolo.
June: Started writing web content articles at home.
July: Earned my first bucks while writing various articles.
August: Same situation as before. Earned a considerable amount of money while writing articles. Played Left 4 Dead and Half-Life 2 in-front of the computer.
When I write articles everyday, I felt that months just pass by that fast.
September: Continued writing articles, but not frequent as it was before. I then stumbled upon a job opening for a web content writer in a company located in Mandaluyong City, at a building where three radio stations are located.
Applied. Got interviewed. Wrote a sample article and showed some of my previous works during my stint of writing at home. Waited for a week. Got hired September 28, first day on the 30th.
October: Earned my first salary with the company. Continued working.
November: First late was on 11/11/11 because of slow-moving traffic. Earned a full month’s worth of salaries.
December: Christmas Party with the company. Had fun. Sent gifts.
Mixed emotions. From ecstatic, to stoic, to happy, to sad. All weird events happening in one single swoop.
So that was my year in review.
Maswerte ako dahil nagkabulutong na rin ako, kahit sobrang late na.
Maswerte ako dahil may pinagkakitaan ako mula sa pagsusulat habang nasa loob ng kwarto.
Maswerte ako at tinanggap ako ng isang kumpanya na naghahanap ng manunulat.
Maswerte ako at may pera na ulet ako at may kontribusyon na rin ako sa bayan.
Pero…
Malas ko pa rin dahil loveless pa rin ako. :(
Nawa’y magpatuloy pa ang swerte sa darating na Bagong Taon. Magpatuloy pa sana ang mga biyayang araw-araw kong nakakamtan. Ngunit higit sa lahat, sana sa taong 2012, mahanap ko na ang magpapasaya sa masalimuot kong mundo. :)
